Construction and mixed waste

Mixed, for sorting

Accepted:

  • Miscellaneous waste from construction sites
  • Roofing felt waste and gypsum waste
  • Furniture
  • Vinyl flooring, Toja board and PVC plastics
  • Insulation materials (glass wool, mineral wool, rock wool and cellulose wool)

Not accepted:

  • Asbestos and hazardous waste
  • Pressure-treated wood
  • Healthcare waste
  • Tyres with rims
  • WEEE (waste electrical and electronic equipment)
  • Organic and sludge waste

Wood waste

Accepted:

  • Painted, treated and dirty timber
  • Wood-based construction boards and plywood
  • Wooden flooring, laminated flooring, wooden interior doors
  • Wooden furniture and fittings (not upholstered)
  • Nails, screws and hinges attached to wood

Not accepted:

  • Non-wood-based waste
  • Pressure-treated wood
  • Mineral-based board (e.g. plasterboard)
  • Decayed wood, stumps, contaminated sawdust
  • Wooden structures with roofing felt, tiles, windows, large metal parts or other contaminants

Energy waste

Accepted:

  • Combustible plastic and plastic furniture
  • Packaging plastic, plastic bags, stretch wrap
  • Plastic bottles, canisters, buckets, baskets
  • Styrofoam, cardboard, paper and paperboard
  • Foam insulation, nylon and silicone plastics
  • Clothes, textiles and fabrics

Not accepted:

  • Non-energy waste
  • PVC plastic (codes 3, 03 or 07)
  • Wallpaper, vinyl flooring, plastic gutters
  • Non-combustible waste
  • Felt, biowaste, cleaning waste
  • Toys

Concrete waste

Accepted:

  • Concrete, mortar, stones and sand
  • Leca gravel, concrete-based paving etc.
  • Concrete blocks, lightweight aggregate blocks

Not accepted:

  • Other types of waste
  • Asbestos, wood, plastic, insulation materials
  • Bricks, tiles, ceramics, porcelain

Brick waste

Accepted:

  • Fired bricks, clay bricks, lightweight bricks
  • Mortar
  • Roof tiles

Not accepted:

  • Other types of waste
  • Asbestos, wood, plastic, insulation materials
  • Glass bricks, iron, plasterboard, concrete, porcelain

Construction stone materials

Accepted:

  • Concrete waste
  • Brick waste
  • Porcelain, ceramics and tiles
  • Sinks and toilets

Raked garden waste

Not accepted:

  • Tree leaves and garden clippings
  • Plant and flower tops, weeds
  • Cones and needles
  • Straw and hay

Not accepted:

  • Branches and twigs
  • Stumps, apples and other biowaste
  • Invasive or harmful plant species
  • Waste not classified as raked garden waste
