Volume weight

333 kg =

The calculated freight chargeable weight for a shipment occupying one cubic metre of space, assuming other goods can be loaded above or below it.

Retail / half pallet or pallet space

(0,6 x 0,8 m) 370 kg =

One (1) retail / half pallet or equivalent pallet area to the full height of the loading space. The actual weight of the shipment including pallet must be less than 370 kg. No stacking above or below is possible.

Roll cage

(0,68 x 0,8 m) 420 kg =

One (1) roll cage footprint to the full height of the loading space. The actual weight of the shipment including the roll cage must be less than 420 kg. Stacking above or below is not possible. For roll cages of other dimensions, the chargeable weight is calculated based on the external dimensions they occupy and volume weight. Empty roll cages are charged based on the volume they occupy when stacked.

EUR pallet or pallet space

(0,8 x 1,2 m) 740 kg = 

One (1) EUR or equivalent pallet area to the full height of the loading space. The actual weight of the shipment including the pallet must be less than 740 kg. No stacking above or below is possible.

FIN pallet or pallet space

(1,0 x 1,2 m) 925 kg =

One (1) FIN or equivalent pallet area to the full height of the loading space. The actual weight of the shipment including the pallet must be less than 925 kg. No stacking above or below is possible.

Loading metre weight

1 850 kg =

One (1) metre of pallet length across the full width and height of the loading space. The actual weight of the shipment must be less than 1,850 kg. No loading above, below or to the side is possible.

Empty pallets and other reusable packaging

  • FIN pallet and other 1.0 x 1.2 m pallet – 60 kg
  • EUR pallet and other 0.8 x 1.2 m pallet – 50 kg
  • Retail pallet and other 0.6 x 0.8 m pallet – 20 kg
  • Other packaging: charged based on the volume they occupy and volume weight

Long items and bundles

  • 4.0–5.9 m: 2 x actual weight or volume weight, minimum 250 kg
  • 6.0–9.9 m: 4 x actual weight or volume weight, minimum 500 kg
  • Over 10.0 m: 6 x actual weight or volume weight, minimum 1,000 kg
  • For individual shipments under 40 kg, the actual weight is used.
