Cleanup skip – a waste container for temporary needs
What is a cleanup skip?
A “talkoolava” (cleanup skip) is a rented waste container intended for various needs of housing associations. You can use it to dispose of all waste generated during communal cleanup events — such as branches, leaves, general waste from shared storage areas and yards, and other mixed waste resulting from cleaning activities. With prior agreement, residents may also dispose of items accumulated in their own apartments.
Save by choosing the right skip for the right use
It’s important to consider the intended use when selecting a skip. For example, if the goal is to get rid of branches, leaves, and twigs collected during spring yard cleanups, a general mixed-waste skip may not be the most cost-effective option. We are happy to help you choose the right type of skip for your needs.
Easy all-in-one service
Unlike many of our competitors, we don’t just rent out skips — we take care of the entire process, including waste recycling, through our own waste facility.
We’ll deliver the skip to the designated spot in your housing association’s yard, pick it up when it’s full, replace it if needed, and handle the waste at our own recycling center — properly and responsibly.
What can be placed in a housing association skip?
Only agreed types of waste are allowed in the skip. Always make sure to check what kind of waste the skip is intended for before using it.
The price of a skip depends on the type of waste being disposed of. Instead of a construction or mixed-waste skip, you can order a skip for a specific waste type — which often significantly reduces costs.
